Like Heartlands, Windward uses the highest quality materials
and craftsmanship and makes their outdoor furniture in the USA.  Windward manufactures many styles of extruded
aluminum powder-coated padded slings, extruded resin wicker furniture, and
marine grade polymer furniture with several color choices a variety of fabrics
to choose from. Heartlands has a good sampling for you to experience in our new
showroom.


 


Marine Grade Polymer


MGP is a domestically made material that is designed to hold
up in harsh environments without fading or breaking down. Collections include
tables, padded deep seating, padded slings, and Adirondacks.


 


Wicker


Windward’s synthetic wicker is made from extruded resin that
is water resistant and has mildew deterrents and UV inhibitors. The color is
all the way through and won’t fade. Cushions are made to order and are mold,
mildew and odor resistant, quick drying, hypo-allergenic, and flame resistant.
There are many colorful fabrics to choose from.


 


 


Padded Slings


Padded slings provide the low maintenance and affordability
of a sling with the comfort of a cushion. You also get quick drying padding
that is mold and mildew resistant and many fabric options.

Home Show Special on Retractable Screen Doors

Although for the first time in ten years, we will not be exhibiting at the St. Louis HBA Home and Garden Show this weekend, we are still offering a discount on our retractable screen doors.   You can see the doors displayed in our showroom Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Heartlands installs the Clearview brand of retractable screens. They feature extruded aluminum parts and come standard with a back plate (necessary for sliding door installations), hidden magnets inside the pull bar on French door applications, and most importantly, the built-in mechanical speed reducer. If you’ve ever experienced the “slam” when you accidently let go of the handle when operating a retractable screen door, you know what the “slam” is. It’s nice to know that if you, your guests or your kids let go of the handle, the screen will retract at a reasonable pace. How much does a retractable screen door cost?

For a standard height single retractable screen door, our installed price is $450. The installed price on a set of standard height retractable screen doors for French doors is $800. There is a $40 up charge to get (pet resistant) super screen or solar screen and for taller doors, but there are no “special” installation up charge surprises. Yes, this price is higher than our competitors, but you have to consider you are not comparing equal products.
